Physical donations
Most of our funds are raised through the sale of donated books and media. When you clean out your shelves, consider donating your new or gently used items to the Friends of the Library for our book sales.

We gratefully accept the following in new or like new condition:
Books
CDs and DVDs
Records (LPs)
Textbooks
Puzzles (with all pieces included)

Unfortunately we cannot accept magazines, VHS tapes or audio cassettes.​​
​
Please recycle worn or damaged items at your home.​​​

Our donation area is located in the parking garage under the San Carlos Library. This area is open
24 hours a day, seven days a week.
