The Friends of the San Carlos Library is a qualified 501(c)3 non-profit organization that promotes community support and use of the library, informs members about issues affecting the library, and provides financial assistance for the library’s infrastructure, collection, and programs as well as for local literacy initiatives.
The Friends of the Library raises funds in three ways:

Our popular monthly Annex Sale is held on the third Sunday of each month, and is located on the second floor of the library. We feature a wide variety of new and gently-used items for all ages, including collectible books that can be found in the Rare Book Nook.

The Bookshop sells new and like-new books, CDs and DVDs. It is located inside the library and is open during regular library hours.
