1. May 4th and 5th, 2013: All day. Free Comic Book Days. For teens and tweens.
2. May 9th: All day. Library closed for Staff Meeting.
3. May 11th, 2013: 2-4pm. Film: Prince Among Slaves. A true and remarkable film about an African Prince who endured the humiliation of slavery without losing his dignity or hope for freedom.
4. May 14th, 2013: 7pm. Dave the Horn Guy. Join us for live music and lots of fun with Dave!! All ages welcome.
5. May 15th, 2013: 7-9pm. Read Along Shakespeare. Gather with other fans of Sakespeare to read his works. Selection this month is “Othello.”
6. May 18th, 2013: 5pm: Last Open Day Before the Renovation. Main Floor Library will close at 5pm until November.
7. May 19th, 2013: 1-4pm. Friends of the Library 3rd Sunday Book Sale. Bookmobile service in the parking lot from 12:30-4:30.
8. May 20th, 2013: 7-8:30pm. PAMF Health Lecture. A presentation that will focus on men’s reproductive health. Presented by Keith L. Lee, M.D., PAMF Urology, Surgical Oncology. For reservations call Rhea Bradley at 650-591-0341ext 237.
9. May 28th, 2013: Library will open at the interim location on the second floor of the main library.
